Hibiscus moscheutos
A moisture-loving, shrubby perennial with showy blooms, well-suited for wetland edges. Large flowers are white to light pink and attractive to butterflies. Native to eastern and parts of central Oklahoma. Tolerant of heat and humidity. Can be grown in large containers. Cut back stems to 3-4” in late autumn. Full sun, medium to wet soil, grows 3-7’ tall, blooms mid-late summer. AKA Hardy Hibiscus
