Antirrhinum majus
These snapdragon varieties have tall, sturdy stems topped with beautiful florets. They are a cut-flower type of snapdragon, not a bedding plant; they can grow 2-3’ tall under ideal conditions. Gorgeous in the landscape, and with a long vase life as cut flower. Main season snapdragon, flowers in June; if plant is cut back after the initial flowering, it will sometimes give a second, smaller flush of flowers later in the summer. Plant 9” apart in fertile soil.
‘Rocket’ mix includes rose, cherry, pink, orchid, red, yellow & white.
‘Madame Butterfly’ is a double or ‘azalea’ type snapdragon – gorgeous! Mix includes pink, red, yellow, white and bronze colors. AAS winner.
