Conoclinium coelestinum

This mistflower is native to central and eastern Oklahoma and prefers some shade and moister soil than C. greggii. Easy-to-grow perennial with toothed leaves and small, fuzzy, lavender-blue flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators. Blooms summer to fall. Spreads enthusiastically. AKA Wild ageratum. Grows to 2’ tall, wet to med-dry soil, partial sun.

This mistflower is native to Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, and will take more sun and drier soil than C. coelestinum. Easy-to-grow perennial with deeply dissected leaves and small, fuzzy, lavender-blue flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators. Blooms late spring to early fall. Spreads enthusiastically. AKA Palmleaf Mistflower. Grows to 2’ tall, medium to dry soil, full to partial sun.
