Chocolate Mint – my other favorite mint! Irresistible scent. Excellent for mint tea. Growth pattern is more horizontal and wandering with smaller stems, not a tall, upright type of mint.
Apple Mint – A lovely mint with fuzzy leaves, very easy to grow. Use the leaves fresh or dried for tea. Like most mints, it can be invasive. Grows well in containers. If planted in the ground, can be mowed in the fall to rejuvenate the patch. Full to partial sun.
Neighborhood Mint – I don’t know which variety of mint this is, but after sampling mints from all my neighbors’ yards 🙂 this is one of my favorites. Reminds me of spearmint. Tall, upright stems are also excellent as bouquet foliage.
