Purple Poppymallow Callirhoe involucrata:

Also known as purple poppy mallow, this low-growing native perennial is easily recognized by its magenta, cup shaped flowers. Makes a good groundcover as each plant forms a low mound with stems spreading out to 3 feet. We’ve grown it on top of a rock wall and let it trail over the edge, for an eye-catching effect. Drought tolerant, summer blooming, full to partial sun.

Tall (Standing) Poppymallow (Callirhoe leiocarpa):

My first year to grow this gorgeous native! I transplanted it last fall and it popped into bloom in late spring. Tall, bushy plants covered in small, deep magenta, cup-shaped flowers. I love to watch the bees as they revel in its pollen. Annual, grows 2-4’ tall, full sun to part shade, medium to dry soil.
