Tender perennial herb with aromatic leaves that provide a sweet licorice-anise scent and flavor. Harvest the leaves throughout the growing season and use fresh or dried. The edible, golden-yellow flowers are lovely as a garnish for drinks or desserts. The leaves are sometimes used as a substitute for French tarragon. Also known as Mexican or Winter Tarragon.
