Nabechan is a traditional Japanese type of scallion grown for its high quality. Sweet flavor, thick shanks, no bulbing. Good eaten raw or in soups, stir-fries or any dish needing a mild onion flavor.

To plant, make a hole by poking your finger in the planting bed, and put one little seedling in each hole. The deeper you plant them, the longer of a white shaft they will have when you harvest them. Space seedlings about 2” apart. Harvest as soon as they are big enough to make you happy!
