Here’s a gaura native to Oklahoma. (The commonly available Gaura lindheimeri that many of us know and love is native to southern Texas and Louisiana.) This tall plant is often referred to as “weedy” so it may not be best for the front yard, but it’s also recommended for prairie plantings because it establishes itself quickly and provides late season blooms. Full to partial sun, 6′ height, medium to dry soil.
