This drought-tolerant perennial has showy yellow flowers with droopy petals that attract many insects, including butterflies and bees. Blooms in late summer, also an excellent cut flower. Found in dry prairies and savannas. Native to Oklahoma, particularly the northeast part of the state. Full to partial sun, medium to med-dry soil, grows up to 5’ height. AKA Grey-headed Coneflower.
