Aromatic, oregano-scented plants grow 2’ tall with stacked flower bracts in shades of lavender, pink or white. Attracts butterflies, honeybees and bumblebees. Deadhead for longer bloom time and prettier appearance. Can also be used as a tea. Spreads by runners to form large clumps. Drought tolerant, medium to dry soil, sun/part shade. AKA Dotted Horsemint.

Hardy annual, sometimes biennial, often self-seeds. Native to central and southern US and northern Mexico. Summer bloomer with fragrant lavender to pink to white flowers that are stacked along the stem. Leaves have an attractive lemony aroma when rubbed. Recommended as a tasty tea plant. Attracts bees, hummingbirds & butterflies. Low maintenance, drought tolerant. Plants may form large colonies. Height 2-3’. Full sun to part shade.
