A summer-flowering vine, stunning in the landscape, also known as lab-lab bean. Prolific bloomer; let it cover a fence or trellis and you’ll have a show-stopping display of magenta-purple flowers and pods. Raw beans can be toxic, but the flowers are edible and tasty – my favorite edible flower. Full sun, space 12” apart. Flowers are attractive to bees, birds & butterflies.
